Last week’s prompt for the Friendly Friday Photo Challenge (yes I am a little behind with this one!) is Illumination!
Of course my mind immediately thought of sunshine, as it might just be one of my favourite things!
I have so many photos of sunsets (a bit addicted to those) and sunny places, but the one that really caught my eye was this of Wells Cathedral.

The way the sun illuminated the Cathedral mesmerised me when I was there. Like liquid caramel!
It would also be very remiss of me not to mention the good old Blackpool Illuminations too!

How could I leave them out of a prompt like this!
And of course, because I just can’t ignore the sun, here you go…

You can see the theme here when I’m in Australia! Just to balance it out here is the moon in Australia!

And finally….

Cheers!!
Post as part of the Friendly Friday Photo Challenge – hosted alternatively each Friday by the fabulous bloggers Something to Ponder About and The Snow Melts Somewhere!
Are you left-handed? Or were you just snapping a photo with your right hand?
Great examples of various illuminations.

Thanks! No, just snapping the photos with my right hand so I could get the glass of wine in the shot 🙂

Thank you! I had no idea if the photos would come out ok (taken on my phone!). It was a particularly bright moon though, so thought I’d give it a shot!

Thanks Jonno! It was taken on my phone so I wasn’t sure how well it would come out.
