I'm sat here looking at an empty screen... I don't know what to write. My mind is just at a complete blank right now. It's been a really busy week at work, I've been exhausted by the time I've gotten home and my head is full of all sorts of thoughts, worries, plans and lists...everything… Continue reading A Post About Nothing!
I'm a self-confessed technophobe. I try, but I don't really understand technology and am impatient if it doesn't work. I never have the most up to date kit...in fact, I probably don't even have the kit in the first place! The old days! When I first went travelling, digital cameras were in their infancy, the… Continue reading Travel and Technology
It was Bonfire Night in the UK on Monday, a day when everyone goes firework crazy! Our local fireworks display was held on the Saturday evening, and as usual it was pretty spectacular. I took the opportunity to test out the camera on my new mobile phone. I've opted for a Google Pixel 2 as… Continue reading Fabulous Fireworks!
The Little Mermaid is hosting another tea party… and this month’s theme is travel! Hop over there to join in the fun!

There is no doubt that it is one of the most iconic images of this city. Every morning the monks from the many temples… Continue reading To Alms Or Not To Alms?

... A LAZY BANK HOLIDAY!! It’s another busy August bank holiday weekend in the UK! A time when the summer is drawing to a close (in fact has finished, if the awful weather we’ve had is anything to go by!), when people make one last ditch effort at a break before the kids go back… Continue reading Because I Love…
It's World Elephant Day! World Elephant Day was launched on the 12th August 2012 to raise awareness of the plight of elephants across the world. Both African and Asian elephants are facing severe threats ranging from poaching (primarily for the illegal ivory trade), to loss of their natural habitat. Conflict between the animals and their… Continue reading World Elephant Day 2018
