Happy March to you all! How time flies!
I’ve been away from my blog for a little while as I’ve been travelling. Australia and Cambodia this time round!
I have visited Cambodia quite a few times and this will have been my fourth time returning to Siem Reap. I again grappled with the dilemma, should we go somewhere new, or return to somewhere we’ve been before. I think we made the right decision in the end, it was very interesting to return to the town and see how it has changed over the years.
I also got to visit the amazing temples of Angkor again…and oh my word, they never, EVER, fail to disappoint!! They are truly stunning!
I took the opportunity on this trip to try to step away from the internet for a while. This was partly my decision and also because I had very patchy access (I know, this can still happen in this day and age!!). I have to say that it did feel quite liberating to not be checking my phone every 5 minutes, to just concentrate on the present and take it all in.
But now I’m back and I am looking forward to catching up with you all!
I’m currently wading through the hundreds (understatement!) of photos that I took whilst I was away and can’t wait to share some of them with you!
Here is a taster of what to expect:

I can’t wait to share more and fill you in on what I got up to whilst I was there!
Just a small matter of the jet lag to get over first…it’s always worse on the way back… I wonder why that is!
Watch this space for more soon…
Beautiful pictures!!

All well here lovely.
Yes. We had a great time away. Seems like ages ago now. Never mind. We have plans for Europe at the end of the year, so I am happily planning away for the next trip. Need something to look forward to. X
