I visited Penzance in Cornwall, UK, with a friend for a gloriously fun and sunny weekend last year. It was such a brilliant weekend and we were totally blessed with weather.
There is a lido there called the Jubliee Pool. It had fallen into disrepair but had been restored to its former glory and was only just re-opening to the public when we arrived.
It’s a gorgeous piece of architecture – and we even managed to have a dip in it as the weather was so lovely! Highly recommended!
We went for a walk one evening and with the sun setting and the sky turning a fabulous mixture of pinks and purples, I managed to grab some shots of the pool as it was empty and reflecting the hues of the sky.
