If The Walls Could Talk…

Friendly Friday Photo Challenge – STORIES

Running around all four of the inner walls at Angkor Wat is a gallery of bas-reliefs which depicts different themes, myths and tales, including the myth of the Churning of the Ocean of Milk, which is in the southern section.

Wander around these stories in an anti-clockwise direction and experience the different tales told through the hundreds of magnificent carvings!

        1. We spent about a week in and around Siem Reap, so we visited Angkor Wat a few times whilst we were there. It was my fourth time there though, so I think I have now explored pretty much every inch of it!! This time around we also went north to see Preah Vihear and Koh Ker which were incredible!!

    1. Thank you Ann and my pleasure! I love writing about my experiences and It’s so lovely to know that others do enjoy reading them. Yes, Angkor Wat is such an amazing and special place. I hope that you are able to get out there at some point in the not too distant future!
